About Ed Schofield

Ed is a designer and trustee of Topic of Cancer. Here is what he has been up to for the last 10 years.

Ed Schofield attended art school a year early in 2007, studying Fine Art at the UCA (University for the Creative Arts). This culminated with an exhibition of work on the Southbank in London, inclusion in the UK National Open Art Exhibition, and an international touring exhibition with the Brooklyn Art Library.

From 2011-2015 Ed worked for two Sculpture parks and the UK’s largest sculpture dealer with regular sales at Sotheby’s, Summers Place, and an annual sculpture garden at Chelsea Flower Show. During this time Ed curated a number of exhibitions, one of which was the subject of a short ITV documentary.

As well as selling sculpture, the company traded artwork, curios and provided a variety of interior design services. Ed was responsible for marketing and websites for this area of the business.

In 2015 Ed approached the Prince’s Trust with the idea of starting a creative design agency. Yazaroo was given Prince’s Trust supported status in August 2015.

In 2019 Ed was elected to represent Ash Wharf as a Councillor on Ash Parish Council.

In 2020, Ed became a Trustee of Topic of Cancer, a charity raising money for groundbreaking immunotherapy research.
